Arts and Craft : Carnegie Monument by Henri Jova

Arts and Craft (Post#13) : Carnegie Monument by Henri Jova

Carnegie Monument is also called as Carnegie Education Pavilion which located at the exterior facade of the previous Carnegie Library which torn down and now new building replaced it and within Hardy Ivy Park. The monument was created and designed by Henri Jova in 1996. This monument was built to pay homage to Andrew Carnegie (an American philanthropist whom donates almost 90% of his fortune to charities, foundations and universities). I read some article and found out that this pavilion was made from the remains of the Atlanta’s First Public Library which is Carnegie Library. The photo is part of Atlanta Walks Photo Collection November 2015.
