Discovery (Post#38) : Strauss Airfield
Leaving Darwin City in few minutes and arriving in an open space made me wonder why we were in open space just beside the Stuart Highway. And while we were walking in the ground, we found few old plane drawings that are displayed within the airfield. I just realized that the said place is a historical Strauss Airfield which used during World War II and closed in 1945.
