Name Of The Place : St Kilda Marina

Name Of The Place (Post#24) : St Kilda Marina

One of the walks that I did while living in Melbourne for a while was walks near the shore. Since I lived in St. Kilda that time, I had a chance to see some part of the suburb and one of the things that St Kilda is famous is because of its beach or marina. I can say that its marina is one of the nearest from city center of Melbourne. The photo above that I captured was taken when I was passing St. Kilda Marina where boats and yachts do their parking and offers other marina services. Photo captured last December 2013.

Name Of The Place (Post#23) : Blackcomb

Snapshot above was captured last June 2008, when I got a chance to visit Whistler in British Columbia. The Blackcomb Mountain is a ski resort mountain beside Whistler Mountain. This is one of the best places that I ever been because this mountain, on its peak, gave me a chance to see the alpine mountains that surrounds Whistler. I felt I was in heaven when I reach the summit of this mountain through gondola.

Name Of The Place : Abu Dhabi

Name Of The Place (Post#22) : Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is the capital emirates of United Arab Emirates or UAE. I was here only for one day but it was a worth visit. This boat post with the name of the city can be found at the front of Marina Mall in Al Marina near the parking area. UAE is divided by seven emirates, each emirates represent a kingdom. If there is a kingdom there is a king and that’s what UAE has. Since UAE is the capital emirates or capital city of the country, their kingdom represents the President of the country and while Dubai emirates represents the Prime Minister and from what I learned it is always that way (please don’t quote me on that). The significant place I visited in this city is “Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque”. Photo snapshot captured last August 2014.

Name Of The Place (Post#20) : Legoland Malaysia

As part of our tour in Malaysia, we went to Legoland to see what’s in store for us on this playground. Yes, we are adult but, when we say a theme park, it is the place of freedom to be a kid again, though we never took children rides, we enjoyed all types of LEGO displayed inside the theme park. This was our last destination before the year 2012 and 2013 switch. And then we did cross the border between Malaysia and Singapore in Johor Bahru and we went to my brother’s house in Singapore for our New Year’s Eve celebration. Photo snapshot captured last December 2012.

Name Of The Place (Post#16): Royal British Columbia Museum

This was the second royal museum that I visited in Canada. Without checking the net it seems that Canada has one royal museum on its provinces. The first royal museum I saw was in Alberta province. Photo captured last June 2008. I like museum since I like knowing and discovering something, the only challenge is time because for me, standard time to spend to a museum is from half a day to one full day, but even myself saddened if the museum is part of a tour because it means I had limited time to see and learn more, because tour is always time bounded.

Since there was available Canberra Day Tour, I chose this option than other. Photo captured last June 2013.
