Photos of the day are all about sunset scenery captured while visiting Cable Beach twice. I had so many photos captured during sunset and honestly the colors of the skies and the water made the scenery so amazing and I can’t stop myself to admire how beautiful our world indeed. These photos are part of 2 Days Broome and Surround Tour October 2016.
Photo of the day is about the couple that I met again in Cable Beach when we crossed each other. The couple is one of the people who I got closed during the Overland Adventure that we had from Darwin to Broome for 9 days. I admire this couple because even they are nearing in their senior years, they are still perfectly fit for adventures and they are traveling together. Such a lovely couple from Netherlands. I capture this photo when they requested me to take photos of them looking at the sun. A very creative photo post indeed. The photo is part of 2 Days Broome and Surround Tour October 2016.
Before leaving the lake to end our adventure for the day, we had a chance to witness sunset within the lake. And that moment gave me a chance to capture the beautiful sunset that was so fascinating to see. These photos are part of Day 2 (Judbarra/Lake Argyle) of 9 Days Darwin to Broome Overland Adventure Tour October 2016.
Though I had seen Sydney Harbour before, it still refreshing to witness it from dusk to nighttime. My first night in my last trip in Sydney was spent to walk around Opera House, Circular Quay and The Rocks after doing the Queen Victoria Building tour.
I came from Circular Quay Station and walked towards Sydney Opera House. As expected, the vicinity area has its regular visitors from different parts of the world since the place is a top destination to see while in Sydney and while in Australia.
I reached surroundings of Opera House at sunset, so the settings of the building is different from the last time I saw it last 2013. Sunset was actually a great time as it gave me a chance to have two different and consecutive time of the day to be able to take pictures of the area, one was with fading sunlight and one was at nighttime. Because of this, I got a chance to see Opera House and its location in two different outlook. The walk also gave me a chance to experiment night photography (and to be honest I’m not really good at it, just a rookie).
While I was in Sydney Opera House area, I captured photos of Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. When I walked towards “The Rocks” area, I was able to see Sydney Opera House from a far.
Here are the photos that I produced during that walk.

Next day, after my walking tour from Bondi to Coogee, the next plan was to see Manly Beach. I knew I’m running out of time and I hoped that I still able to see the famous beach but its getting dark. Though I have limited time to spare, I still grab my chance to visit Manly Beach.

And that being said, the second night was spent a bit in the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Beach and vice versa. I hopped-on in a regular ferry that goes between Circular Quay and Manly Wharf. When I reached Manly, I crossed a road and walked straight to “The Corso” – a street of outdoor markets and mall street before reaching the beach itself. But since it’s night, some stores are already closed. I move forward towards the beach, since its already dark, I haven’t seen much of Manly Beach. I had seen some portion of the shore, the ocean and the nearby buildings in surrounding areas.

After sometime in Manly, I decided to go back since the next schedule of the ferry to Circular Quay was approaching. While in the ferry, the same night gave me a chance to see Sydney CBD at nighttime from a distance and I had been able to witness how Sydney is magnificent at dark hours.
Sunset sceneries are common subject for photographers as it depicts different colours of the sky and it is the time of the day it influence photographers to be inspired to take shots of unique sky views. Most of the thinkers, philosophers, ideologist, artist and even common people used sunset scenery to think about life and the world around us. Sunset usually used as symbols of life of humanity which can refer to successes, accomplishments, achievements and even legacy of people, it also used to represent ages, time or end of someone or something. In other perspective, it means peace. Whatever sunset means to us whether its good or bad, we know that after dusk, the dawn will follow which symbolizes a new start.
What I liked about these photos are the boats passing under the sun and the red-orange colour of the sky. Looking at the photos, I feel the tranquility of the place and calmness of the moment. Photo is part of collections from summer outing in Canyon Cove at Nasugbu Batangas last March 2011.
After enjoying Arthurs Seat for entertaining picnic, without any plan we dropped by at Brighton Beach before ending our day. Brighton is one of the suburbs of Melbourne in Victoria Australia. Every time I heard Brighton, one thing that comes to my mind, none other than colorful Bathing Boxes. Brighton Beach is one of the area belongs to Bayside in Melbourne that I am trying to finish the coastline walk.
Without further ado, we drove down to Brighton Beach from Arthurs Seat, it took a while before we reach the place and when we arrived there, it’s almost sunset. What we were trying to explore in the beach was to find the colorful bathing boxes that still existing in the area. As per history, there are more than thousand bathing boxes before, but nowadays, there are few left because most of the bathing houses were relocated, removed and destroyed from time to time, until the remaining bathing boxes in Brighton beach considered it as historical place as of today.
Colorful Bathing Boxes at Brighton Beach
We found the lineup of bathing boxes and we enjoyed the scenery because of the colorful bathing houses with different arts painted on it. We took our time to enjoy the view while taking the photos. We saw similar people like us who just dropped by in the area just to see and take pictures of historical bathing boxes. Aside from enjoying colorful bathing boxes, we also enjoyed the sunset views in the area.

This was the last stop we had for that day and decided to part our ways hoping that next adventure will happen soon.
