Name Of The Place (Post#57) : Cape Leeuwin
Photo of the day is about Cape Leeuwin. Cape Leeuwin is the tip and the extreme most south-westerly mainland of Australia. The cape also known as the point where the Indian Ocean and Southern Ocean meets, this means being in the place is a chance to see two ocean at the same time. The name of Cape Leeuwin was made by Matthew Flinders in 1801 based on the name of the adjoining area by Leeuwin Land which navigated by Leeuwin (The Lioness), a Dutch Galleon. The historic and heritage lighthouse Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse located in the cape. The photo is part of Margaret River (Western Australia) Region Tour October 2016.

1. Join Day Tours from Perth or
2. Take Transwa Train from Perth Station to Bunbury Passenger Terminal. Then
take Pemberton Bus to Augusta and get off at Blackwood Avenue. Finally, take a taxi from Blackwood Avenue to Cape Leeuwin.
